Up and coming beat-provocateur Aman Ellis has recently posted up a new collection of nine free tunes on Soundcloud. Having released the All The Things EP earlier this year, The Cacti EP is a worthy leftfield progression, packed with interesting samples, and in some ways recalling Warp’s Flying Lotus. The 2 Bears are Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell (Greco-Roman Sound System) and their Curious Nature EP has just been aired by Southern Fried Records. Put simply, their leading track from the record, ‘Church’ is supported by a video featuring Care Bears. It’s also a brilliant danceable pop song, and if you liked anything by Dan Le Sac, you’ll love this. Right, I’m off to watch cartoons. Tara.
